Community Outreach

We strongly believe that robotics is more than just people making robots; it's about using robots to make people. Whenever we're not competing against other teams, we dedicate our time towards enriching the community around us.

Elementary STEAM Night

We love participating in STEAM nights because it sparks excitement and interest in STEAM for kids. At STEAM nights, kids can operate our FRC robots in safe mode, and we provide smaller VEX robots that they can use to play a game. We also operate a pin-making station where kids can design their own pins.

Memorial Day Parade

Every year, Walled Lake Robotics participates in the Oakland County Memorial Day parade in order to honor the thousands of people that have lost their lives protecting our nation. We like to showcase the season's robots in the parade, as well as our beloved T-shirt launching tank bot. We always bring candy to pass out to kids during the parade.

We are always looking for more opportunities to help out our community. If you are interested in collaborating with us, do not hesitate to contact us!
